About us
The Unstoppables is a group for young people 13 to 25 years with Special Educational Needs and or Disabilities (SEND) that helps the voices and opinions of young people with SEND in Somerset be heard and to help make changes to improve the services that they use.
Who are The Unstoppables?
We meet in person on the first Saturday of every month in Yeovil, to discuss the things that are important to us, as well as the issues affecting them and other young people with SEND in Somerset.

What do we do?
We help to improve services for young people with SEND by helping them to understand our needs better.
We have engaging sessions discussing the topics that are important to us in ways that are accessible to our needs, we learn skills such as debating and how to share our voice, we help to make resources – such as posters, leaflets and films – to help professionals help us.

Why join us?
The Unstoppables is a fun group that helps young people with SEND have a voice. We get to share our lived experiences with other SEND young people, while also helping to make improvements to services for SEND young people across the county.
We get to plan our day and talk about the topics that are important to us in a safe and confidential space, that does its very best to be completely inclusive to meet everyone’s needs.
